Planning a celebration for her birthday with plenty of champagne? Maybe you are going to be doing some tequila body shots at the club later.
Or you are thinking about having several martinis with dinner, and maybe a few afterward. It doesn't matter, because there is nothing wrong with getting drunk before having sex right?
Getting a woman drunk or getting drunk yourself is actually not the best way to have sex.
While a little bit of alcohol can lower inhibitions and make people more relaxed and open to sexual advances, a lot tends to ruin the experience altogether. Mixing sex and alcohol generally goes badly.
Think about these things. When you are drunk you don't think clearly. You may have an incredible conversation with a gorgeous woman, but when you wake up in the morning, you have no idea what it was about.
Or, you can completely ruin a possible relationship by getting drunk, slurring your words, stumbling around and generally making a fool of yourself. Most women do not find this attractive. Drinking can also make a man more aggressive, and that can be a total turn-off as well.
Consuming large amounts of alcohol can completely change your personality. Not everyone becomes a happy drunk. Some people turn into violent and obnoxious drunks.
If you do manage to get a woman in bed, the loss of motor function that accompanies getting drunk can make it hard to put on a condom properly or you can forget to put one on altogether.
Even worse, alcohol causes drowsiness, so you may even fall asleep before you even get started. Even worse than that is that when men are drunk, sometimes they can't get an erection, which will really put a damper on your evening.
Excessive amounts of alcohol can also lower the effectiveness of some forms of female birth control, as well. Drinking too much makes the nerve endings in both the male and female genitalia numb, so you don't feel much while having sex.
When a woman drinks too much alcohol, it can decrease the amount of natural lubricant she has, and this can lead to sex that is not the least bit enjoyable and may even be painful.
Overall, too much alcohol decreases desire, satisfaction and enjoyment of the whole sexual experience. So why bother? There is nothing wrong with having one or two drinks before having sex. But if you want to have great sex later, think twice before consuming a lot of alcohol. It doesn't make sex better.
It actually makes it worse, and since sex should be a fun experience that feels phenomenal, cut down on the alcohol to make sure it stays that way. Sex is also a chance to get close and intimate with someone else, and if you are impaired, you can't make that connection.
So remember, a little goes a long way when it comes to combing alcohol with sex. In fact, sex is usually better without any alcohol at all.
